Why We Charge a Service Call Fee

At Larson Air & Plumbing, we’re committed to providing professional, reliable service every time we come to your home or business. To make this possible, we charge a service call fee (trip charge) that covers the true cost of sending a certified HVAC or plumbing technician to your location.

This fee helps cover:

• Gas and travel costs to get to your property

• Insurance and licensing for protection and compliance

• Labor for certified technicians who bring skill, training, and expertise

• A fully stocked service truck—a “warehouse on wheels”—with parts and tools to complete most repairs on-site

• Specialized tools required to do the job correctly and safely

• Ongoing training and education for our technicians

• Vehicle wear and tear, including maintenance, tires, registration, and repairs

• Business overhead, such as phones, dispatching, and warehouse operations

Our current service call rates are:

• $89 for residential service calls

• $189 for commercial service calls

👉 If you approve the recommended repairs during the visit, we waive the service call fee—you only pay for the repair itself.

We also offer free estimates for new air conditioning systems and on select plumbing repairs.
